Only a day after I complained over no Google precense in desktop search on Linux, Google replied: Google Desktop Search now available for Linux
. (As many readers pointed out.)
As I stated only yeasterday Google, I welcome you. Please invade my privacy. Just make your desktop search available for Linux!

Windows has it's Desktop Search. Mac has Spotlight. (Both have Google Desktop.) Linux has… Well, nothing useful.

After examining the new interface in Skype 1.4b for Linux I have notice a tiny webcamera icon in the contact list. The icons indicate which of contact that have a webcamera enabled:

Wow! It looks like Firefox 3 will be the first web browser in a while that will be introducing new features! Alex Faaborg has posted some mock-ups of what Firefox 3 might look like.
