Moving to Norway
Words by Daniel Aleksandersen on 2008-03-10
What I mean is that I am slowly moving my websites and domains to a local web hosting company in Oslo, Noway. This may cause downtimes and lots of other hassards. I have not planned any updates to the site, other than the change of shared web host.
Feed scrapping

I have lost the count of websites that is attempting to mirror this one. I am a small scale publisher, but still there are at least thousands of websites imitating this one. It is a sort of digital kleptomania that I do not have words for. Could you all please stop stealing my content? At least, give some attribution.

Blogging is killing the article
Words by Daniel Aleksandersen on 2007-12-28
I though blogs where awesome in the beginning of the blogosphere explosion. They appeared to be a fast, personal, and accessible way of conveying information. And anyone could do it! Unfortunately this were the trough of blogging! It is too quick and dirty, too personal, and—well, I have nothing against it being accessible, really.
My point being, blogging have been stealing marketshare from the decent and carefully crafted article. This is also why I am giving up on blogging. It killed the fun of researching a topic and really working on a text. I am going to become a freelance journalist instead!
Planning

Taking over the world is a tedious business. That is why my websites have not been updated regularly lately. (Frankly they are not up to date anymore, and some have even been left offline for months.) I will think things over, and get back with my strong web presence sometime very soon.
(Just thought I would let you all know what I am up to. I will return strong. Soon. I promise!)
