Donations to free software
In the end of May I made a $ 100 USD donation to Software in the Public Interest, Inc. (SPI). As usual I encourage other users to make a small donation as well.
| Project | Amount |
|---|---|
| Total USD | $ 100 |
| Debian Project | $ 50 |
| FreeDesktop.org | $ 25 |
| PostgreSQL | $ 10 |
| OpenOffice.org | $ 10 |
| SPI General Fund | $ 5 |
This is a doubling of my contribution to SIP from last year with the introduction of the FreeDesktop.org and OpenOffice.org projects.
I have not made any contributions to KDE, ev. yet. Though I will most probably donate funds later this year too.
I must admit the record low USD had something to do with the increased contribution.
To all and everyone: make a small donation to whatever open source project you like and use. (Though the Mozilla Organisation is doing just fine with it’s support from Mozilla Corp./Google.)

I just wish I had 100 $ to spend … Still, I'm impressed.
