Fixing KNetworkManager in Debian
KNetworkManager, KDE’s front‐end to network-manager, requires to be run as root to operate the network interfaces. Sounds like a familiar problem? The solution is to add the user running KNetworkManager to the netdev group using a tool such as KUser.
It really did take a reinstallation to fix this problem. Or, it took a reinstallation for me to bother to fix it. Anyhow, there were no documentation of the issue, so I though I would post it in my blog.
