Good candidate for Headline of the Year
The Observer enter the race for headline of the year early with this all‐covering hype‐machine: Apple and Google ruled a year to note in your Facebook. The Brits have at least one strong candidate this year.
I have a thing with headlines. I thought this one was a particularly good example of a sensational headline. But without being shallow and with a slight touch of British irony.
