Multimedia Metadata Format
My work with a Multimedia Metadata Format for the Ogg multimedia container format have matured. The latest M3F draft introduces a variety of new ways to describe audio and video in great detail which is unmatched by any other format!
M3F is an XML format for describing any media resource in a Ogg container. The format have been simplified and designed primarily with audio and movie recordings in mind. The old version focused on providing separate tools for each media type, were the new version treats every media type as a media resources.
If adopted content creators and encoders will find exciting new tools to describe digital content. Media and music library management software and media search tools will have [litterally] hundreds of new ways to address, sort, filter, and organise digital multimedia content.
