Reader feedback

Words by Daniel Aleksandersen on 2007-02-28

Here is some great reader feedback I got from Christoffer:

For a while I have been reading Open Source Notebook. And thanks to you, and your writing, I have installed Ubuntu on my MacBook. I am really pleased with it, and are enjoying some breaks in the free, and open Linux world from the daily computing in OS X. I think it is cool to experiment with tips, and tricks from the notebook on my Ubuntu partition.

After reading the KDE entries you have been publishing lately, I am considering removing Ubuntu, and endorse KDE on Fedora.

Thanks for the blog, and I hope you will continue blogging! - Christoffer Lindblom

Important! News feed URL change

Words by Daniel Aleksandersen on 2007-02-22

This is an important message to all all current, and hopefully new, RSS news feed subscribers. As of today, all subscribers are recommended to switch to the new news feed URL:

News feed icon http://feeds.opensource-notebook.com/recententries/

The old address will be redirected to the new location, though this will cause a delay on the subscribers' end, and more network traffic, and bandwidth spent for the subscriber, and me. So please kick the old URL out from your subscription list, and get the new one instead!
