Intitial welcome post!
Hi, I am Daniel and this is The Open Source Notebook!
As some readers surely are aware of; this is my new blog about open source software on desktop clients, and the open source ideology. This site have spun up from the bonAveo Ubuntu Linux blog, and will continue in it's spirit.
The topics that will be covered are mostly the same as at the old bonAveo Ubuntu Linux blog. However there will be some change of focus. This site will focus more on open source as an ideology, less on Ubuntu and more on the Debian GNU/Linux distribution.
Make sure you subscribe to the RSS news feed or learn about other ways to stay update!
The site development have taken a little under one month! It is for the first time hosted at my domain name registrar. I hope having both domain and hosting plans with GoDaddy will improve both speed and stability. Time will show!
I am looking forward to start writing more in this notebook/blog over the following months. Please comment a lot so I know whether I am on the right track or not!
